If you’ve never attended a Grand National Rally and are curious to see what all the hype is about, look no further! GNR is a huge, annual event that Winnebago has hosted for more than 50 years that celebrates Winnebago brand RVs and, of course, our amazing owners. Every year, owners pack up their RVs from all over and travel to Forest City, Iowa, for a week packed with seminars, entertainment, vendors, chances to meet people from Winnebago, and so much more. What truly makes this event so special is our owner community and the lifelong friends you are bound to make at this event. Our owners really are something to celebrate!
Each year, we select a new theme to enhance the Grand National Rally experience for our attendees. This year in 2022, guests can look forward to our Driving 66 theme! This theme is centered around Route 66 and will highlight the iconic stops and landmarks along one of the most famous highways in the United States!
So, what exactly does a ticket to GNR include? Let’s take a look…
1. Entertainment
We know how to throw a party! At the Grand National Rally, we always have a variety of fun entertainment performances lined up throughout the week for our guests to enjoy. Past performers include Larry Fleet, Chris Koza, and Stephanie Quayle. There’s always something for everyone in the entertainment schedule!
Row Party night is a GNR tradition all attendees love and one of the main highlights of our event. States and special interest groups come together and prepare food and/or drink items representative of their group/community to share with other GNR guests. It’s a great way for everyone to come together and celebrate the Winnebago owner community!
2. Vendors
During rally week, the walls of Friendship Hall are lined with a variety of different vendor booths and vendor displays. Vendors that have come to GNR in the past include Airxcel, Blue Ox, CoachNet, Dometic, Michelin, Thetford/Norcold, and Truma, just to name a few. On top of amazing booth displays, many of our vendors also prepare educational seminars for GNR! Attendees can look forward to leaving these seminars feeling more confident in their knowledge of their RV and the products/systems used in them.
3. Product Display
Another unique thing included in your GNR ticket is access to Winnebago’s product and dealer display! Take your time browsing Winnebago’s newest products and floorplans while dreaming about where your next home on wheels will take you. You’ll also get the chance to meet members from Winnebago’s extremely talented product, engineering, training, and marketing teams. Each person on these teams is dedicated to enhancing the overall Winnebago customer experience and they cannot wait to meet you!

4. Daily Activities
Some things are so fun, they can’t happen just once! The Grand National Rally schedule always has daily activities to offer that guests can look forward to like:
- Daily Morning Coffee: Start each morning of rally week with your GNR friends sipping on morning coffee while you map out what activities you want to do for that day!
- Factory Tours: Be sure to save room in your schedule for one of our factory tours available daily, too.
- Daily Happy Hour: There are so many different things to do, but we know you’ll for sure want to make time for the daily happy hour!
5. Other Amenities
Your ticket to GNR also includes access to all of the amenities and services available on the rally grounds!
- Two shower houses
- Access to 30- and 50-amp electric hookups
- Water hook ups at the beginning of each row
- Honey Wagon service
- Shuttle buses to take attendees to various locations in Forest City
- People mover drivers to take attendees around the rally grounds
- Free Wi-Fi
- Golf cart rental
- Large fenced in dog park
Even though your GNR ticket has a price attached to it, the experiences, friendships, and memories made at GNR truly are priceless.
